Morgan Meyer is a singer/songwriter based in Austin, Texas. Born and raised in southern Wisconsin, Morgan grew up singing the blues in a family band with her older brother. The sounds of her country and blues roots form the basis of her vocal tone. Her sound can be described as a mashup of blues, folk, and pop with the perfect hint of twang and grit. Morgan writes about life, love, childhood, mental health, and substance abuse. Mental health therapist by day and musician by night, Morgan is passionate about mental health care. Working closely with the severely mentally ill and homeless population, she finds inspiration in human emotion and growth.
